Admission Information:

Admissions are primarily based on entrance
exams.

B.Tech
Program: Admission through JEE Main scores followed by UPTAC counselling.

Program: Admission requires passing the CUET PG exam and participating in AKTU's counselling. CMAT
scores are also accepted.

Program: Requires a research-based entrance test and an interview conducted
by the university.
B.Tech
Admission 2024:

Specializations: 41 different specializations,
each lasting four years.

Lateral Entry: Direct admission to the second
year available, lasting three years.

Eligibility Criteria:

General B.Tech Admission: Passed 10+2 with
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for
SC/ST).
·
Lateral Entry: Minimum 60% in a 3-4 year diploma
or B.Sc from a recognized university.
Application
Process:
1.
Registration: Register on the UPTAC official
website using application number and password. Upload personal and academic
details.
2.
Counselling Fee: Pay the INR 1,000 counselling
fee.
3.
Document Verification: Documents verified by the
Central Document Verification Team. Receipt sent via email/SMS.
4.
Choice Filling: Log in to fill choices of
institutions and branches.
5.
Seat Allotment: Result announced online based on
choices.
6.
Seat Acceptance: Pay the seat acceptance fee and
choose to Float or Freeze the seat.
7.
Final Admission: Report to the allotted college
with all required documents to complete the admission process.
