The Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) 2022 application process for admission to PG degrees has started at Calicut University. The official website for the application process is uoc.ac.in.
For PG programs, Calicut University is only accepting applications through the CAP system. The institution provides a variety of postgraduate degrees, including the MA, MSc, MCom, and MVoc. For the university centers and linked colleges, applications are being accepted.
Candidates may enroll in Calicut University's PG programs even if they have not yet earned their final-year Bachelor's mark sheet or certificate. However, they must meet the minimal requirements for eligibility and present those at the time of admission.
Calicut University PGCAP 2022 Registration: Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process
Candidates must have earned a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from an accredited university with a minimum overall score of 50%. Candidates who identify as OBC or OEC are eligible for a 5 percent relaxation. SC/ST candidates just need to pass the prerequisite exam.
Process of Selection: Candidates will be chosen based on their merit in academic credentials. The corresponding percentage value of the subject weightage (if any) in 1000 will be added to the Selection Index Score (SIS) along with other weights during the weightage calculation (for programs in which weightage is not calculated on the Selection Index Score - SIS value) to obtain the Final Index Score (FIS).
Calicut University PGCAP 2022 Registration: How to Apply?
Step 1: Go to uoc.ac.in, the Calicut University's official application site.
Step 2: Fill out the relevant information, including your mobile number and email address, before registering for the course of your choice by clicking on the provided Google Form link.
Step 3: Log in using your registration credentials and complete the Application form with all necessary information.
Step 4: Complete the application form and pay the 420 INR application cost.
Step 5: Applicants must also print a copy of the application for their records.
