The government of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday announced a new formula for screening 10th and 12th grade students, under state board, during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Explaining the formula, Deputy Prime Minister Dinesh Sharma said that to calculate the results of Grade 12 students studying under the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPMSP), 50 percent marks were obtained in 10th grade, 40 percent marks were obtained in 11th grade. annually a semi-annual examination or examination and 10 percent of the marks obtained on the pre-grade 12 board will be considered.
In Class 10, 50 percent of the marks obtained in class 9 and 50% of the marks obtained on the pre-grade 10 board will be considered, he said. The minister also said that about 56,04,628 students have registered for the board exams in 2021.
A total of 29,94,312 students have registered for the Grade 10 board examination, he said, adding that this includes 29,74,487 institutional examinations and 19 825 private examinations. “In Class 12, a total of 26,10 316 students have registered for the board examinations. This includes 25,17,658 institutional inspectors and 92 658 independent inspectors, ”said Sharma.
He said an 11-member committee had been set up to implement the policy. The committee received up to 3 910 proposals in this regard. The CM deputy also announced that there will be no eligibility list for the 2021 exam. Students (enrolled in 2021), who want to appear on a developmental exam, can appear on the next board exam without paying the exam fee, he added.
