MICAT 2020
MICA Admissions Test (MICAT) is a prominently online entrance test for MICA's flagship course Post Graduate certification in Management - Communications (PGDM-C). MICA has proclaimed the admission method for the educational year 2021-23. MICAT test is conducted in 2 phases. MICAT is going to be conducted on December 5 and MICAT II will be conducted on January 30. Registration for each of the exams is completed on an individual basis and therefore the candidates have to be compelled to appear in either of the 2 exams. The registration method for MICAT 2020-21 has commenced from October 6.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for MICAT 2020?
- Candidates ought to have appeared, or showing in CAT 2020/XAT 2021/GMAT (2019 onwards)
- They must even have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

What is the Selection Process of MICAT 2020?
Step-1: Aspirants need to take the CAT/ XAT/GMAT examination.
Step-2: Aspirants, who have taken any of the previously mentioned examinations, are eligible for MICAT. In MICAT, all aspirants are selected on the following basis:
Section A: Psychometric Test
Section B: Verbal ability, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation, General Awareness; Divergent and thinking
Section C: Descriptive test
Step-3: GE & PI: Candidates who qualify CAT/XAT/GMAT & MICAT I and II shall appear for each group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI)
MICAT 2020 Application Process
- Section A of MICAT i.e. psychometric test could be a qualifier.
- For candidates who qualify on the psychometric, their relative performance on CAT/XAT/GMAT is thought-about basis minimum cut off.
- Candidates who qualify Section A supported the CAT/XAT/GMAT performance, their Section B of MICAT is assessed.
- Thereafter, aspirants who qualify for Section B, their performance in Section C are assessed.
- Aspirants who clear sections A, B, and C are required GE/PI at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai.
1- To apply for MICAT, candidates got to fill the registration form on the official website and pay Rs 1,965 on-line as an examination fee.
2- Once successful registration, aspirants can receive their MICA ID and MICA password via email. This MICA ID is to be used for all future correspondence and login purposes.
3- Admit cards for MICAT 2020-21 are going to be issued to the candidates who shall have registered with success for the test.
4- Candidates are needed to download their admit cards from the official website.
5- MICAT is held twice in a very specific admission cycle. The candidates who clear the psychometric test are going to be assessed on the remainder of the parameters and examination rounds.
6- MICAT result 2020-21 is going to be declared online on the official web site.
7- Test takers will check their scores by using their login credentials. Post the result, chosen candidates are going to be invited for GE/PI at varied MICA campuses.
8- Shortlisting of GE/PI candidates is going to be done on the premise of their CAT/XAT/GMAT score and MICAT I and MICAT II.
