MICA (formerly known as Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad) is one the prestigious institution in the India .It was established in 1991 .The PGDM-C is the residential programme of MICA, Ahmedabad. The two-year, full-time, residential programme is AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education ) approved and is deemed equivalent to an MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).MICAT (MICA ADMISSION TEST ) is MICA's mandatory entrance exam, which applicants are expected to take in addition to having appeared in one of these examinations-CAT/XAT/GMAT.MICAT is conducted for admission into POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT-COMMUNICATION(PGDM-C).
It is conducted by Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA), Ahmedabad. MICAT is conducted two times in one year – MICAT I and MICAT II.Candidates should get valid scores in CAT, XAT and GMAT to appear in MICAT.
MICAT ELIGIBLITY CRIETRIA 2019
►The applying candidate should hold the Bachelor’s degree (in 10+2+3 system) or equivalent recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
►Candidates appearing in final year can also apply for this.
MICAT EXAM PATTERN 2019
MICAT is computed based test. Both types of question subjective & objective will be asked in the examination. Duration of the test will be of 165 minutes (2hr. 45 minutes).There will three part in the examination comprised of 6 sections.

(This is not exact no .of question. Every year no. of question varies, so in 2019 it is expected to 140-150 no. of questions will be asked in the examination.)There will no negative marking scheme for Psychometric Test and Descriptive Test .But for section 2nd there will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for wrong answer.
MICAT REGISTRATION FEES 2019
The registration fee is Rs. 1985/-.Candidate can pay it online, cash payment and by Demand Draft .The DD will be drawn in the favour of ‘MICA ‘Payable at Ahmedabad , Gujarat.

MICAT will be held across 48 cities in India.Test Centres are –

MICAT ADMIT CARD 2019
Candidate can download the admit card from the official website .Candidate can download it after entering log in credentials. Candidates are not allowed to enter into test centre without admit card.MICAT –I Admit card can be downloaded from 26th November 2018 and MICAT-II Admit card can be downloaded from 04 February 2019.
MICAT RESULT 2019
Candidate can download their result from the official website .MICAT I Result will be available from 18th December 2018 and MICAT II Result will be available from 19th February 2019.On the basis of these results , candidate will be called for further process.
MICAT SELECTION PROCESS 2019
It will be held in three step –
Step 1:- CAT/XAT/GMAT
Each candidate must have taken at least one of the three exams: CAT/ XAT/GMAT (CAT 2018 / XAT 2019 / GMAT (2017 onwards).
Note: Kindly update your score options in the online application form which you would like to submit (i.e. CAT 2018, XAT 2019 & GMAT 2017 onwards). After receiving your CAT score, XAT Registration No. and GMAT score, please update the details on our website on or before 30th January 2019. (Please mention your XAT Registration no. only and we will collect the score from XLRI).
Step 2:- MICA Admission Test (MICAT)
All candidates are assessed on MICAT, which consists of 3 sections
- Section A: Psychometric Test
- Section B: (has 4 sub-sections) - Verbal ability, Quantitative ability and Data Interpretation, General awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking
- Section C: Descriptive Test.
Step 3: Group Exercise & Personal Interview
All the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT & MICAT shall appear for both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI).
