SNAP 2019 ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA

With the notification of SNAP 2019 the details eligibility criteria has been also updated on their official website. Every year Symbiosis International University decide the SNAP eligibility criteria.

SNAP is the mandatory exam for participating in admission process of 15 affiliated colleges of Symbiosis International University. Application process for SNAP 2019 has been started from 16 August 2019 and will end on 23 November 2019.The date of exam is 25 December 2019.

SIU has declared the eligibility criteria for SNAP 2019 and detailed eligibility criteria of 15 SNAP Accepting Institutions.

SNAP   means Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, which is the compulsory for every student who is aspiring to study in any of 15 SNAP Score accepting institutions.

Eligibility criteria of SNAP 2019 consist of two parts in it .First part contain the criteria to appear SNAP Exam 2019 on 15th December 2019 and second after SNAP 2019 Exam Cut off marks needed for 15 different institutions for taking admission for the MBA 2020.

Candidate needs to understand that SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria and the eligibility criteria of 15 accepting SNAP institutions are different. All   15 institutions are affiliated from Symbiosis International University.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2019

Under this section we have given details of eligibility criteria for SNAP 2019 and SNAP Score accepting Institution Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Very common point under SNAP Eligibility Criteria, candidate need to have to graduate degree from any of recognised university with minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC and ST).

Final year Student

Candidates who are studying in final year of graduation can also apply .But but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes).Admission of such candidate will be provisional and will be cancelled in the event of non-completion of this criteria.

Foreign University Students

A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees / qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

Participating Symbiosis Institutes

For participating into admission process of 15 SNAP Accepting institutions, SNAP Score is mandatory. But the eligibility criteria of SNAP exam and other institution differ from each other. Minimum eligibility criteria of SNAP exam don’t guarantee admission in any of the programme. Symbiosis participating Institutions will release their individual cut off after declaration of SNAP 2019 Results.

Specific Programme in Symbiosis institutions

There are different programme in different symbiosis institutes which required different subject or streams like SIOT, SIHS, SICSR .Candidates need to see specific eligibility criteria of institutes before applying for exam.

Candidates need to make registration for SNAP 2019 and then they have to fill the application form of individual institutes for which specific programme they want to apply. So it’s important for candidate to see eligibility criteria of SNAP 2019 and along with that they have to make sure that they are eligible for the specific MBA Programme in Symbiosis Institutes of their choice or not.

In case if a candidate is eligible for SNAP 2019 exam but he or she doesn’t fulfil the eligibility criteria of specific institutes of their chosen MBA Programme their application fees will not be refunded

SNAP 2019 - Registration Process

SNAP 2019 Registration 2019

SNAP 2019 Exam has scheduled on 15 December 2019. Registration process for SNAP  2019 has been started from 16 August 2019 and will continue till 23rd November 2019.

SNAP 2019 is the mandatory exam for taking admission into 15 symbiosis institutions for various programme such as MBA, M.Sc Computer Application and System Security.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is national level mandatory and common entrance exam conducted across India for admission process of 15 Symbiosis Institutions. All the 15 Symbiosis Institutions are affiliated from Symbiosis International University.

Snap is the computer based test conducted by Symbiosis International University on annual basis on single day in one session which on 15 December 2019 from 2PM to 4 pm.

SNAP is the only preliminary exam for taking participation in admission process of 15 Symbiosis Institutions. After declaration of SNAP 2019 Score Card, all the 15 Symbiosis Institutes will release their cut off individually for their programme.

SNAP 2019 Application Form Process in Online Mode

For SNAP 2019 Registration and application process there is only one mode available which is online. Candidate can register themselves online only .They can fill application form online only but can pay fees either in online or through DD.

How to Register?

  • Go to official website of SNAP Test 2019 www.snaptest.org
  • You will see the icon of apply now.
  • After click on it the page of 1st Part of Registration will open .Fill your general details.
  • You will receive OTP on your registered mobile no.After validating mobile no you need to verify Email id.
  • Once you verify it your SNAP User ID and Password will be generated.
  • After having USER ID & Password Login into it and fill your complete details
  • Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration for SNAP Test
  • Make the payment for SNAP Test.
  • Candidate should provide their correct name, Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile no. because once SNAP Registration Process done no changes can be done to it.
  • Candidates can now fill the SNAP Application form and can pay the fees on the same place. They can also apply to specific programme of Symbiosis Institute for taking admission.

SNAP  2019 Application Form Correction

 Any change in the online application form (except name, date of birth, category and test city preferences) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. 23 November 2019.No change in name, date of birth, category and test city requests will be entertained once a candidate completes her/his SNAP Online Test 2019 payment.

SNAP 2019 Registration Fees

There are two parts in SNAP 2019 Registration Fees .Candidate has to register individually for SNAP Test 2019 and also register for different programme of different Symbiosis Institutes. Candidate need to understand that they have to pay fees for SNAP Registration and also for their choice of programme in particular Symbiosis Institutes.

Registration fees for SNAP Test 2019 is Rs. 1750 and after that candidate have to pay Rs. 1000 individually for each of the programme they want to apply in any of Symbiosis Institutes.

Last date of payment of registration fees for SNAP 2019 is  23Rd November  2019.Candidates can pay for particular programme of Symbiosis Institutes after the last payment date of SNAP 2019 registration .They have to look carefully at date schedule of individual Symbiosis Institutes  they want to apply.

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only.

 


SNAP 2019 - Exam Pattern Details

SNAP 2019 EXAM PATTERN

SNAP is computer based test conducted by Symbiosis International University for admission into 15 Symbiosis Institutes for MBA Programme. SNAP is conducted once in a year by SIU(Symbiosis International University).Duration of exam will be 120 minutes .Multiple Choice Question and Non Multiple Choice Objective Question will be asked in the SNAP 2019 Exam. The no of question for special question has decreased to 5 from 20 and that is only for Quant & DI Section. SNAP 2019 will conducted at 90 cities across India.

SNAP 2019 Test Structure

SNAP 2019 Test will consist three sections - General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.

Total no of question will be 110 which includes 105 normal question and 5 special question in QA&DI Section. SNAP 2019 Test will have different sectional marking scheme for each section .One and half marks for each question of General English and Logical Reasoning will be allotted for correct answer and 1 mark for normal question and 2 marks for special question will be given in QA&DI Sections.

SNAP 2019 is an exam which is necessary for taking into admission process of 15 symbiosis institutes. All the 15 Symbiosis Institutes are affiliated from Symbiosis International University

Every year SIU declares the date schedule for SNAP and all the details regarding SNAP .For SNAP syllabus there is not any fixed syllabus but as after analysing past trend and record of exams we have made the detailed syllabus of SNAP 2019.

SNAP syllabus includes the no of question, pattern of questions, no of section, sectional composition and topic which one should practice to qualify the cut off percentile of different symbiosis institutes. SNAP 2019 test is only entrance exam through which candidate will get eligible to appear for the different symbiosis institutes to their chosen programme.

Registration process is going on and will end on 23 November 2019.SNAP exam will be conducted in online mode on 15th December 2019 between 2:00 Pm to 4:00 pm in single session.

In this section we have mentioned the topic from which questions can be asked. SNAP 2019 Test Structure consist three sections –General English , Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability .There will be total 110 questions which needs to be answered in duration of 2 hours. There will be different sectional marking for each section and negative marking scheme of ¼ marks .So it is suggested to all the candidates to choose and answer question with lots of attentions.
