Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Introduces 15 New Courses Under the SWAYAM Initiative

Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, has launched 15 new courses for the SWAYAM initiative, starting from the 2024 session. These programs, tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of learners, range from 4 to 12 weeks in duration and offer a comprehensive educational experience with the option to earn a BHU Certificate upon successful completion.

Commencing on July 22, these courses cover a wide array of subjects including management, commerce, science, medicine, social sciences, humanities, and philosophy. This initiative aims to enhance learners' knowledge and skills, according to the university's press release.

We invite all interested learners to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from the distinguished faculty of BHU and expand their academic horizons," said Dr. Ashutosh Mohan, Coordinator of BHU SWAYAM.

In addition to the technical support from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur, these courses are funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The SWAYAM initiative, launched by the Government of India, aims to make quality education accessible to everyone, regardless of their location or institutional affiliation.
