The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh,
has initiated the Round 1 registration process for NEET UG 2025 state
counselling. Eligible candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses
under the state quota can now register online through the official portal — cgdme.in.
The counselling is exclusively for candidates who have
qualified NEET UG 2025 and are aiming for government and private medical/dental
colleges in Chhattisgarh.

📝 Key Guidelines for Candidates

Registration: Candidates must complete
registration at cgdme.in before August 4,
2025.

Choice Filling: Available from July 29 to
August 5; locking is mandatory before submission.
·
Seat Allotment: The Round 1 seat allotment
list will be published on August 8.
·
Admission Rules:
·
Admission is compulsory for seats allotted in
government medical colleges.
·
Admission is optional for private
medical/dental colleges.
·
Failure to join allotted govt. colleges will
result in disqualification from further rounds.
·
Scrutiny: All allotted candidates must
undergo physical document verification at the allotted college between August
9–14.
🔁 Upgradation to Round 2
If a candidate wishes to participate in Round 2, they
must:

Log in to the candidate portal.
·
Opt for upgradation using the OTP-based
verification.
·
Fill new choices and lock them again.
Note: Government medical college seats allotted in Round
1 will not be offered again in later rounds.
