CSIR NET 2024: Admit Card Released at csirnet.nta.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the June 2024 session of the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET).

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the June 2024 session of the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET). Students can visit the the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in to download their admit cards.

The CSIR NET examination is conducted for students interested in Junior Research Fellowship, lectureship, assistant professor positions, and PhD programs. The 2024 examination will be conducted in computer-based mode.

Earlier, the examination was scheduled to take place from June 25 to 27, but on June 21, the Agency announced that it had been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances and “logistic issues.” Approximately 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the CSIR-UGC NET.

CSIR NET 2024: Follow these steps Download Admit Card

1. Visit the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in.

2. Enter your login credentials i.e date of birth and application number.

3. The CSIR NET admit card will be shown on your the laptop/desktop screen.

4. Save and download the admit card for future reference.

The admit card issued is provisional. Candidates must bring a hard copy of the admit card to the examination. Examination invigilators will not allow candidates with a soft copy of the admit card to enter the premises and take the exam.

CSIR NET 2024: Exam Date and Time

The public notice also mentions the CSIR NET dates and shifts for the subjects. On July 25, the agency will conduct exams for three subjects: physical sciences, mathematical sciences, and Earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences. Physical sciences and Earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences will be conducted in a single shift from 9 am to noon, while in the second shift the mathematical sciences exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.

On July 26, the NTA will conduct two CSIR NET exams on life sciences. The first exam will be held from 9 am to noon in the first shift, and the second will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm in the second shift. On July 27, the testing agency will conduct the chemical sciences exam in a single shift from 9 am to noon.
