The
application process for the centralised counselling against CCMT and CCMN for
the year 2024 has commenced. Prospective candidates must submit their
applications by June 7. The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology
(SVNIT) in Surat is overseeing this centralised counselling process for
admission to postgraduate (PG) programmes across various National Institutes of
Technology (NITs), the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology
(IIEST) Shibpur, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally
Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other participating institutes.
Candidates
who have qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) and
the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM
2024) are eligible to register for this centralised counselling. GATE 2024 qualifiers can apply for admission
to Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Architecture (MArch), and Master of
Planning (MPlan) programmes through the Centralised Counselling for
MTech/MArch/MPlan (CCMT 2024). Similarly, JAM 2024 qualifiers can register for
admission to Master of Science (MSc) and MSc Technology (MSc Tech) programmes
via the Centralised Counselling for MSc/MSc Tech (CCMN 2024).
The deadline
for registration for both CCMT and CCMN 2024 is set for June 7 at 5:30 pm.
SVNIT Surat is conducting this centralised counselling to streamline the
admission process for PG programmes in NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IIITs, CFTIs, and
other affiliated institutions.
For GATE
2024 qualifiers, there are 61 participating institutions, including NITs,
IIITs, and CFTIs, where candidates can pursue their master’s degree in
engineering, technology, architecture, or planning. Interested candidates can
register through the official CCMT 2024 portal at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. A
valid GATE 2024 score is mandatory for these programmes.
For those
qualifying JAM 2024, there are 29 participating institutions, including NITs,
IIITs, and CFTIs, offering MSc and MSc Tech programmes. These candidates can
register via the CCMN 2024 portal at ccmn.admissions.nic.in. Admission to these
MSc and MSc Tech programmes requires a valid JAM 2024 score.
In summary,
the centralised counselling for admissions to various PG programmes has begun,
and eligible candidates must apply by June 7. With SVNIT Surat at the helm, the
