IIM Ahmedabad Revises CAT Criteria for PGP 2026-28 Admissions

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has raised the bar for CAT 2025 aspirants seeking admission to its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP) 2026-28. With tougher cut-offs and a more selective evaluation system, only the top percentile of candidates will make it to the next rounds.

According to the updated criteria, General and EWS category candidates must now score at least 95 percentile overall and a minimum of 85 percentile in each section of the CAT — VARC, DILR, and QA. This is a significant increase from the earlier cut-off of 80 overall and 70 sectional, marking a decisive shift towards a more competitive selection.
