IIM Bangalore Introduces First UG Programs in 2026: BSc in Economics & Data Science

IIM Bangalore is all set to take a transformative step in Indian higher education by launching its first-ever undergraduate degree programmes from August 2026. For the first time, the prestigious institute will admit students fresh out of Class XII for two innovative 4-year residential courses:

·         BSc (Hons) in Economics

·         BSc (Hons) in Data Science

These courses will be delivered at IIMB’s upcoming Jigani campus, under its new School of Multidisciplinary Studies. The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) and aims to equip students with a holistic, interdisciplinary education.
