The Indian
Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has unveiled its Ignite programme,
a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering start-ups focused on enhancing
India’s micro-enterprises and self-help
groups (SHGs). Ignite offers a platform for start-ups developing
technology-driven solutions to support grassroots businesses through funding,
mentorship, and essential resources.
This programme is tailored to accelerate the growth
of start-ups dedicated to uplifting underserved communities, fostering sustainable
development, and enhancing economic resilience.
Applications for the Ignite programme are now open
and will close on November 20. Start-ups and organizations striving to empower
micro-enterprises and SHGs are encouraged to apply.
Announcing the programme, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, shared, “The Ignite programme reflects our
