Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM
Sambalpur) is accepting applications for its new
MBA program in Fintech Management.
The program is available in two
formats: a single degree in Fintech Management or a dual degree that combines
an MBA in International Finance from
Sorbonne Business School and a certificate in Fintech Management from IIM Sambalpur. Applications are open
from April 25 to May 24, 2024, on the IIM
Sambalpur website.
IIM Sambalpur is the first Indian Institute of Management
to offer an MBA in Fintech
Management in collaboration with NSE Academy (a subsidiary of the National
Stock Exchange). This program is designed to meet the evolving demands of the
financial and technology sectors.
Eligibility criteria for this program include:
A bachelor's degree with at least 50%
marks, preferably in business, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer
science, or related fields.
A minimum of two years of
post-qualification experience in managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional
roles.
A "no objection certificate"
or "consent letter" from the applicant's employer (self-employed
applicants must provide a declaration).
Both the single and dual degree
programs are 18 months long and consist of 17 specialized courses. The
curriculum includes immersion experiences at IIM Sambalpur and NSE Academy in
Mumbai, with additional international immersion at Sorbonne Business School for
the dual degree program.
Professor Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, emphasized the significant job opportunities and entrepreneurial prospects in the fintech sector, highlighting that this new MBA program will equip students with the skills and experience to thrive in this dynamic field.
