Postgraduate Private Scholarships

SJM School of Management Endowment (PhD): Rs
28,000 per month for the first two years, increasing to Rs 31,000 per month.

IITB Monash (PhD): Rs 35,000 per month for the
first two years, increasing to Rs 39,000 per month for the next three years.
·
EATON Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (PhD): Rs 30,000
per month for the first two years, Rs 35,000 per month for the next two years,
plus Rs 1,50,000 for attending a national/international conference.

SERB (Purdue Visiting Doctoral, 12 months)
(PhD): USD 2,000 per month, Rs 60,000 contingency grant, plus onward journey
fare.
·
Forbes Marshall (MTech): Rs 20,000 per month,
tuition fee reimbursement, and Rs 15,000 contingency.
·
Dr. Gargi Vishnoi Memorial Scholarship
(Biosciences and Bioengineering, MTech):** Rs 2,000 per month along with travel
allowance (TA).

Postgraduate Government Scholarships
·
NBHM (PhD): Rs 31,000 per month for the first
two years, increasing to Rs 35,000, plus a Rs 20,000 annual contingency grant.

DBT-JRF, DBT-SRF (PhD): Rs 31,000 per month
for the first two years, Rs 35,000 per month for the next three years, plus a
Rs 30,000 annual contingency allowance and HRA.
·
DST-INSPIRE (PhD): Rs 31,000 per month for the
first two years, Rs 35,000 per month for the next three years, plus a Rs 20,000
annual contingency grant.
·
ICMR (PhD): Rs 31,000 per month for the first
two years, Rs 35,000 per month for the next three years, plus a Rs 20,000
annual contingency grant.
·
DAE (DGFS) (MTech): Rs 35,000 per month,
tuition fee reimbursement, Rs 5,000 education material allowance, Rs 25,000
contingency, and Rs 10,000 book allowance.
·
AERB (MTech): Rs 35,000 per month, tuition fee
reimbursement, and Rs 5,000 book allowance.
·
MERC (MTech): Rs 8,000 per month, Rs 5,000
tuition fee per semester, Rs 15,000 contingency, and additional allowances.
·
MPCB (MTech): Rs 8,000 per month.
3. Master
of Science Institute Scholarships
·
Merit cum Means: Awarded to up to 25% of
students. Criteria include JAM rank for new entrants.
·
Free Messing Facilities: Available to SC/ST
students, exempting them from tuition fees.
·
M.Sc-Ph.D. (Dual Degree): Rs 6,000 per month
for the first four semesters, Rs 37,000 per month for the fifth to eighth
semesters, and Rs 42,000 per month for the ninth to fourteenth semesters.

Merit Criterion: Based on JAM rank for MSc
students. Academic performance in subsequent years.

Undergraduate Government Scholarships
·
NBHM (MSc): Rs 6,000 per month, selection by
NBHM.

Institute Scholarships
·
Merit-cum-Means (MCM): Available to up to 25%
of undergraduate students. Criteria include financial need and academic merit.
·
Merit Criterion: Based on JEE AIR for BTech,
dual degree, and BS; UCEED rank for BDes.
·
Free Messing Facilities: Available to SC/ST
students.
7. Named
Private Scholarships

8.
National Scholarships (All States)
·
Awarded to students from respective states
through IIT Bombay. Require annual renewal and progress report submission.
9.
National Talent Search Scholarship (NTS)
·
Continuation from 10+2 to undergraduate and
postgraduate levels. Requires annual renewal form submission to the academic
section.
Financial
Eligibility: Scholarships are based on parental income, with a gross annual
income threshold of Rs 5 lakh. Income proof, such as a certificate from a
revenue officer or an income tax return, is required.
