The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K)
has launched the ‘SATHEE SSC’ platform to assist aspirants preparing for Staff
Selection Commission (SSC) examinations. According to IIT Kanpur, the SATHEE
platform has initially introduced courses and study materials for SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and plans to expand to other SSC exams in the future.
Supported by the Ministry of Education, this
initiative aims to provide affordable and quality training, particularly for
students from economically weaker backgrounds. It ensures that all aspirants
have access to the same level of preparation as their peers, as stated by IIT
Kanpur.
The SATHEE
SSC platform offers a variety of study materials, practice tests, video
lectures, and interactive sessions with experienced educators. By leveraging
technology and expertise, SATHEE
aims to make SSC exam preparation more accessible and effective for all
aspirants.
On the launch of SATHEE SSC, Professor Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur,
emphasized the initiative’s alignment with the goals of the National
Educational Policy 2020. He stated, "With the launch of SATHEE SSC, we are furthering our
commitment to making premier education accessible to everyone. This initiative
represents a significant step in leveraging technology to empower students
across India, preparing them not only for exams but also for a brighter future.”
Aspirants can register for SATHEE SSC through the website sathee.iitk.ac.in or by downloading
the SATHEE app from the App Store or
Google Play Store. Prof. Amey Karkare, the principal investigator of the
project, added, “Integrating an AI-enabled tutoring system into SATHEE SSC allows us to offer a
personalized learning experience that adapts to individual student needs.”
