IIT Kanpur started phase I of placements and received an amazing response on day 1, with 579 students getting offers. This makes the institute’s goal of academic excellence and preparing students to occupy high positions in national and international organizations achievable.
A Stellar Opening Day
Out of the 579 offers, 523 students were selected through campus recruitment and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). Notably, 199 students took PPOs due to the increased demand for the company IIT Kanpur. Adding to the institute’s global standing, 13 students were placed into international positions, which affirmed the internationality of the institute's talent.

The placement drive featured 74 top organizations like Microsoft, Google, Texas Instrument, Databricks, American Express, Schlumberger Limited, Deutsche Bank, and others. These different types of recruiters showed the range of careers for students in various fields.
