🚀 IIT Madras Launches School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship to Boost Deep-Tech Startups

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has taken a monumental step to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem by launching its School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The goal? To create a globally competitive deep-tech startup environment, nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.

This new school, officially inaugurated on August 4, 2025, will operate under the umbrella of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, led by Prof. Anbarasu Manivannan. The founding head is Prof. Prabhu Rajagopal, a celebrated academic and recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award.
