The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 exam. Students
who took the April session exams can now check their scores and verify the
final answers on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
To access the final answer key,
candidates must visit the NTA's JEE Main
website and log in using their application number and date of birth. Once
logged in, they should find the answer key link on the homepage. After clicking
on this link, candidates will be able to view and download the final answer
key. It's advisable to save a copy for future reference.
The JEE Mains April session took place over several days, with the
first paper held on April 4, and the last exam concluding on April 12. The
provisional answer key for Paper 1 was released on April 12, and candidates
were given until April 14 to raise objections or contest any discrepancies.
After reviewing the objections, the NTA has published the final answer key,
which is now considered the definitive guide for the correct answers.
The schedule for the April session was as
follows:
Paper 1, the BE/BTech exam, was held across
multiple days—April 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9. Paper 2, intended for BArch and
BPlanning candidates, was held on April 12 in two shifts: the first shift from
9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the second shift from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Students who qualify through the JEE Main exam are eligible to proceed
to JEE Advanced, a crucial step for
those seeking admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology
(IITs). Only the top 2.5 lakh ranked candidates from JEE Main will be able to take the JEE Advanced exam. The application process for JEE Advanced begins on April 27, with the exam scheduled for May
26, 2024.
Thus, candidates are encouraged to check their final answer key and download it for future reference as it provides the last confirmation of correct responses. This key is vital for understanding their performance and determining if they qualify for JEE Advanced.
