JEE MAINS 2024 : JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 Exam commence today, Check details here

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024 kicks off today, commencing with paper 2. Comprehensive exam day guidelines are available here. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to administer paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning during the second shift, running from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Scheduled to commence today, January 24, the first session of JEE Mains 2024 will be overseen by the NTA. On the inaugural day, the NTA will manage the paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning in the second shift, spanning from 3 pm to 6 pm. Admit cards can be obtained from jeemain.nta.ac.in through this link: JEE Main paper 2 admit card.

To ensure a smooth examination experience, the NTA has issued crucial guidelines for candidates:

Adhere to the reporting time mentioned on the admit cards; entry will not be permitted beyond the gate closing time.

Candidates opting for non-Aadhaar authentication or those who didn't register through DigiLocker/ABC ID must report at least 1 hour earlier to record their biometrics at the exam center.

Permitted items include the admit card (clear, color printout on A4 paper), a passport-size photograph (matching the one used during the application), and a valid original photo ID (PAN/Aadhar with photo/driving license/voter ID/passport/e-Aadhar/ration card/Class 12 admit card).

For the drawing test, candidates must bring their own geometry box set, pencils, erasers, and color pencils or crayons. Watercolors are not allowed.

If a candidate takes a bio-break/toilet break, mandatory frisking and biometrics must be undergone again.

A4 size blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination hall. Candidates should write their names and roll numbers at the top of each sheet and drop them, along with the filled-in admit cards, in the designated drop box before leaving the examination hall. Failure to do so may result in non-evaluation of answers.

Diabetic students are allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (bananas/apples/oranges) and transparent water bottles to the examination hall.

Candidates must enter the required details in the attendance sheet with legible handwriting, sign it, provide a left-hand thumb impression, and paste a photograph in the designated spot. The left-hand thumb impression should be clear and not smudged.
