JoSAA Counselling 2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the Round 1 Seat Allotment Results on June 20, 2024. Students can check their seat allotment status on the official website: josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA Counselling Registration closed on June 18, 2024. Candidates eligible for JoSAA counselling 2024 must have cleared either the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams. To participate in the seat allotment and subsequent counselling rounds, students must complete the JoSAA registration and choice filling process. Additionally, the JoSAA Cutoff 2024 will be available online after each counselling round. The JoSAA Counselling 2024 will consist of six rounds. Successful candidates can secure admissions to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and IITs.

• Candidates aiming for CSE courses at IIT Bombay need to rank between 1 and 67, as per the 2023 opening and closing ranks.
• For IIT Kharagpur, the 2023 CSE opening and closing ranks were 164 and 277, respectively, while for IIT Kanpur, they were 124 and 238.
• JoSAA Counselling 2024 Mock Test Allocation 1 and 2 will occur on June 25 and Choice Locking will take place on June 27, 2024.
• Candidates with higher ranks interested in IITs can pursue Civil, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineering, with closing ranks reaching up to 15,000, as seen at IIT Bhubaneswar in 2023.
• Those not allocated seats during JoSAA Counselling can participate in CSAB Counselling.

JoSAA Counselling 2024 seat allocation results will be available online after each round, with seats allocated based on availability, merit, and preferences. The NTA conducted the JEE Main 2024 sessions successfully in January and April. Only those meeting the JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced requirements can participate in JoSAA Counselling 2024.
