The Karnataka School
Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the timetable for the
Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 2024 exam 3. Candidates
can now register through the official website — kseab.karnataka.gov.in, with
the registration deadline set for July 17.
The Karnataka SSLC exam 3 will take place
from August 2 to August 9 in a pen and paper format. Registration has
commenced, and candidates must complete the process and upload their details
via school login by July 17.
The results for
Karnataka SSLC exam 2, conducted from June 14 to June 21, were declared on July
10. The first SSLC exam, held from March 25 to April 6, had its results
announced on May 9. This year, the overall pass percentage has decreased by
30%. Additionally, 78 schools across Karnataka, including three in Bengaluru,
recorded a zero percent pass rate. However, girls outperformed boys with an 81%
pass rate compared to 65% for boys.
The board offers
students the chance to improve their scores by retaining the best marks from
the first, second, and third SSLC examinations, thus providing better
opportunities for further education or employment.

Candidates must pay the
exam registration fee: Rs 407 for one subject, Rs 507 for two subjects, and Rs
682 for three or more subjects.
Exam Timings:
First languages and
core subjects: 10:15 am to 1:30 pm
Second language and
third language papers: 10:15 am to 1:15 pm
Differently-abled
students will receive extra time based on the duration of the exam: 60 minutes
for 3-hour papers, 50 minutes for 2.5-hour papers, 40 minutes for 2-hour
papers, and 30 minutes for 1.5-hour papers.
