The Management Development Institute Murshidabad has recently completed its final placement for the PGDM Batch of 2022-24. The maximum salary offered touched INR 40 lakh per annum.

In all, 188 students were involved in the drive, of which 77% are male students while 23% are female students. Almost 100 recruiters belonging to various fields participated in the placement and offered an average salary of INR 11.76 lakh per annum.

Placement for PGDM Batch of 2023-25 in Summer Internship
MDI Murshidabad also shared its summer placement report with the medium of placement for the PGDM Batch 2023-25. Among the 182 respondents, 146 were male while 36 respondents were female. 

The drive ensured that 48 recruiters from strategy, finance, marketing, human resources, and supply chain domains attended the event. The summer placements displayed that the institute offers a range of opportunities to its students.

Students and Employment
The batch of PGDM 2023-25 comprised students coming from different backgrounds as follows: BCom 30.6%, BBA 19.7%, BTech 8.7%, BSc 16.9%, and other 24%. For the PGDM Batch 2022-24, a maximum of students had completed BBA (29.6%). New joiners constituted 77% of the batch size, and the remainder had prior work experience.

Industry Info & Ideal Employers
In the final placements conclusions, the largest share, 27.1%, was occupied by the BFSI sector. Many organizations were recruited during the event, such as Airtel, Axis Bank, Dabur, Colgate, Cognizant, etc. Thus, the corporate world has faith in the MDI Murshidabad students.
