The NEET Application Form for 2024 has been extended, and the registration link is now active at neet.ntaonline.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) officially released the NEET 2024 application form on February 9, 2024. Prospective candidates have the opportunity to submit their online applications until March 16, 2024, up to 10:50 PM. Additionally, the online fee submission deadline is set for 11:50 PM on March 16, 2024.

NEET UG stands as the sole national-level entrance test facilitating admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses in prestigious institutions such as AIIMS, JIPMER, MAMC, and over 700 government and private medical colleges across the country. Successful completion of online registration is a mandatory prerequisite for appearing in the exam.

To initiate the NEET 2024 registration process, candidates must first create a unique application number and password on the NTA portal at nta.ac.in login. Subsequently, they need to complete the NEET application form for 2024, selecting the preferred test city, choosing subjects, uploading documents in the correct size and format, and making the necessary payment of NEET registration fees.

Key points to note for NEET 2024 registration include:

·         The application fee remains unchanged this year, with no increase for any category.

·         NEET application fees are INR 1700 for the General category, INR 1600 for OBC/EWS, and INR 1000 for SC/ST/PwD.

·         Essential documents, such as the class 10 marksheet, passport-size and postcard-size photographs, and a category certificate, must be submitted along with the NEET application form 2024.

·         Candidates can select up to four test center choices from the NEET exam centers list 2024.

After the registration period concludes on March 16, 2024, NTA will open the NEET 2024 Correction Window on March 18, 2024, allowing applicants to rectify any errors in their submitted registration forms. This correction window represents the final opportunity to review and correct any mistakes made. Only eligible registered applicants will receive the NEET 2024 Admit Card for the examination day.

·         NTA has introduced 14 test centers outside India, and applicants who have already registered can change their test city to one outside India during the NEET correction window.

·        Aspiring candidates for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) looking to pursue the 4-year B.Sc. Nursing course in Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals must appear for and qualify NEET 2024.

·        NEET 2024 Application Forms were released on February 9, 2024, on the revised NTA portal exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

·        The NEET 2024 Information Bulletin, along with the registration link, is available for reference.

·         NTA is set to conduct NEET UG 2024 on May 5, 2024, with no new changes announced in this regard.

·       There is no upper age limit to apply for NEET 2024. As in previous years, the upper age limit criteria do not apply, and candidates must be 17 or complete 17 years of age by December 31, 2024, to be eligible for registration.
