The Medical

have been distributed among several medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh,
Maharashtra, and Telangana. Specifically, five medical colleges in Andhra
Pradesh have received seven new seats, four colleges in Maharashtra have gained
seven seats, and eight colleges in Telangana have been allocated 600 new seats.
Notably, half of the seats in Telangana are reserved for female candidates. The
official website mcc.nic.in now reflects these updates.
In addition, 6947 virtual seats have been announced
for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs in round 2. These
virtual seats are spread across various colleges in states such as West Bengal,
Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and many others.
On September 7, MCC also stated that four institutions have recently been granted "Deemed to be University" status by the UGC. Following a Supreme Court order, the seats from these institutions will now be included in the seat matrix for the second round of counseling. The colleges added are Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences and Malla Reddy Medical College for Women in Hyderabad, with 200 seats each, as well as Malla Reddy Institute of Dental Sciences and Malla Reddy Dental College for Women, each with 100 seats.
