NIFT Counselling Process
Candidates must follow the procedure
below to participate in the counselling.
Registration
Register on the official website using
credentials such as form number, date of birth, and password.
Registration is mandatory to appear in
the counselling rounds.
Campus Choice
During registration, select the
preferred NIFT campus from the 16 available options.
Download Call Letter
After successful registration, a
system-generated letter will be sent via SMS and email to the registered mobile
number and email address.
The letter will contain details of the
Nodal Officer and the required documents for Counselling and Admission.
Counselling
Counselling will take place offline at
the selected campus.
Candidates must report to the
counselling center at the designated time for document verification and seat
allocation.
Documents Required for NIFT Counselling 2024
Candidates called for NIFT 2024 counselling must bring the
following original documents and their photocopies. NIFT will return the original certificates except for the medical
certificate.
Valid PwD certificate
Two passport-sized and four
stamp-sized photographs
Certificate of clearing 10+2 or
equivalent examination
System-generated letter/email received
by the candidate
Copy of 12th class school leaving
certificate (for domicile seats only)
Certificate from the board for High
School/Higher Secondary Examination
Demand draft of Rs. 1,10,450/-
(Non-NRI) payable to NIFT HO for semester fee
Certificate showing subjects offered
in 10+2 examination (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics for B.F.Tech.)
SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy) category
certificate (if applicable)
Demand draft of INR 1,45,950 for
semester fee
Provisional admission undertaking
(Annexure-I)
Anti-ragging undertaking (Annexure-II)
Admission withdrawal form

Eligibility, fee, and refund

Note:
If any of these documents are in a language other than Hindi/English, a
verified English/Hindi translation must be provided. Failure to do so will
result in disqualification from admission.
