Southern Cross University (SCU) is proud to announce its initiative to offer scholarships to Indian students, aiming to foster academic excellence and cultural diversity within its campus community. The prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarship 2024 is now open for applications from international students, including those hailing from India. This scholarship opportunity is available to students enrolled in full undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees at SCU's esteemed Gold Coast campus.

To qualify for this esteemed scholarship, applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic performance, exceeding the university's minimum admission requirements with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 75 or above. SCU recognizes various Indian examination boards and their equivalent scores to determine eligibility. For example, pupils hailing from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education are eligible with a minimum score of 69%.

Additionally, SCU presents another avenue of financial assistance for Indian students through the Southern Cross Global Regional Scholarship. This scholarship supports undergraduate or postgraduate international students pursuing studies at SCU's Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses. Eligible courses of study include full undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees offered at either the Lismore or Coffs Harbour campuses, as well as the National Marine Science Centre campus.

Interested candidates are encouraged to meet the admission entry requirements of their chosen program and apply for the scholarship, which offers a maximum fee reduction of $8,000 per year for the duration of their program.
