UGC NET Admit Card 2024 LIVE: NTA to Release Hall Tickets This Week

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is anticipated to release the admit cards for the 2024 University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) shortly. Candidates who registered for the exam can download their hall tickets from the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in once they are available. The exam is scheduled for June 18 and, for the first time, will cover all 83 subjects in a single day. Previously, the UGC NET exam was conducted over multiple days for different subjects. This exam determines candidates' eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship positions in Indian universities and colleges.

In addition to updates on the official NTA website, nta.ac.in, candidates can check for UGC NET December 2023 results on the official X account. The National Testing Agency can be contacted at 011-40759000 for assistance. It's advisable to bookmark multiple NTA websites in case of any technical issues.

UGC NET Admit Card 2024: Response Sheets to be Released Before Results

Before the results are announced, the NTA will publish the question papers and candidates' recorded responses on the NTA website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The UGC NET June 2024 Examination will be conducted in OMR-based mode only.

The NTA UGC NET, held twice a year, assesses candidates' eligibility for junior research fellowships and assistant professorships in Indian institutions. The admit card for the UGC NET June cycle exam, scheduled for June 18, will be available soon at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates: 15%

Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates: 7.5%

Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates (based on the Central List): 27%

General-Economically Weaker Sections (General-EWS) candidates: 10%

Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates (disability of 40% or more): 5%

Purpose of UGC NET 2024

The UGC NET exam determines whether candidates are qualified for positions as "Assistant Professor" and "Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor" in Indian universities and colleges.
