The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam schedule for
the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 session. The exam city slips will be available
10 days prior to the exam, scheduled for June 18.
To view the schedule, candidates can
visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET June 2024 exam will take place on June 18, divided into two
shifts. The morning shift, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, will cover 42 subjects,
including philosophy, history, commerce, social work, and more. The afternoon
shift, from 3 PM to 6 PM, will cover 41 subjects, such as economics, political
science, psychology, sociology, and others.

The city slips will be issued 10 days
before the exam, followed by the release of admit cards. The exam, conducted in
OMR mode, will cover 83 subjects and is intended for awarding the Junior
Research Fellowship (JRF), appointing assistant professors, and admitting
students to PhD programs in Indian universities and colleges.

The city intimation slip will help
students plan their travel. The 2024 exam pattern includes two papers: Paper 1
and Paper 2. Both papers are objective-type with multiple-choice questions,
totaling 150 questions—50 in Paper 1 and 100 in Paper 2. The combined duration
for both papers is three hours, with no negative marking.
