UGC NET June 2025 Results Declared: Subject-Wise Cut-Offs and Qualifying Stats

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET June 2025 results on July 21, determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship, and PhD admissions across Indian universities.

Candidates can now access their scorecards via the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

This exam cycle, held from June 18 to June 21 in CBT mode, witnessed participation from over 7.5 lakh candidates. Out of 10,19,751 registrations, 7,52,007 appeared, and based on performance and subject-wise cut-offs:

What Do These Results Mean for You?

·         Qualified for JRF: Eligible for funded research roles in universities and also for Assistant Professorship.

·         Qualified for Assistant Professor: Eligible to apply for faculty positions in Indian colleges/universities.

·         Qualified for PhD only: Can seek admission to doctoral programmes as per institutional guidelines.
