Operations Officer Programme, aimed at enhancing
the productivity of COOs. Featuring exclusive online modules by Kellogg
Executive Education, this initiative is designed to assist COOs in formulating
comprehensive strategies encompassing operating models, cost structures, market
footprints, and technological innovations.
In recognition of the evolving role of Chief Operations Officers in today's dynamic business landscape, the esteemed Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has launched this program in collaboration with Emeritus, a global leader in providing accessible and high-quality education. The program includes two exclusive online modules with certificates from Kellogg Executive Education and spans a duration of 12 months.
Tailored for both current COOs and those aspiring to the role, the program delves into contemporary topics such as technology, design thinking, AI, digital supply chain, agile methodologies, and risk resilience. It aims to equip operational leaders with the skills to optimize processes and build influential networks, while aspiring and newly appointed COOs benefit from a focus on cutting-edge practices driving efficiency, innovation, and growth.

The comprehensive program includes live-online sessions by IIMK faculty, online modules by Kellogg Executive Education, a 3-day campus immersion, business simulations in Strategic and Global Supply Chain Management, a capstone project, peer-to-peer learning, and insights from industry practitioners. The modules, directed by IIM Kozhikode faculty, cover various aspects, including operational diagnostics, supply chain agility, risk mitigation, business models, technology disruptions, AI applications, and metrics for growth.
Expressing enthusiasm about the program, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, emphasized the transformative shift in the COO role and the commitment to developing agile and visionary leaders. Mohan Kannegal, CEO of Emeritus, highlighted the importance of equipping COOs with knowledge and skills needed to navigate the evolving technological landscape.
Scheduled to commence on March 30, 2024, with a fee of INR 6,50,000 + GST taxes, the program is open to graduates and diploma holders with a minimum of 10 years of work experience. Successful participants will receive a completion certificate from IIM Kozhikode, along with module certificates from Kellogg Executive Education upon meeting the program's evaluation criteria.
