IIM Sambalpur, in consultation with NSE Academy, organized a knowledge-enriching roundtable discussion at IIM Sambalpur, Delhi Campus. Christened ‘Beyond the Brand Rethinking Strategies in the Era of Technology-Driven Disruption,’ the event featured contributions from over 35 industry leaders, academics, and professionals in technology.


Integrating AI in Education IIM Sambalpur’s Vision

The keynote address was delivered by Professor Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, who underscored to the audience the importance of AI in learning spaces.


IIM Sambalpur is dedicated to strategic improvements that will see the incorporation of artificial intelligence into learning systems and ensure that academic frameworks are tailored towards fulfilling industry requirements,” said MPP while acknowledging the optimistic returns on learning.


Technology’s Strategic Application

C-level professionals from Spencers, Flipkart, Shoppers Stop, BATA, and ITC shared various views on how AI, digitalization, and the metaverse are changing brands. Key topics included:


  • AI-based customer interaction methods

  • Supply chain efficiency through digital technologies

  • The use of technology to establish loyalty and trust


Speaking on the topic of technological advancements in the country, Abhilash Misra, chief executive officer of NSE Academy, said that firms must learn to ‘shift gears’ in response to constant global technological changes.


Sustainability and Purpose-Driven Innovation

Nishit Bansal, VP at Tata Consumer Products, spoke about the value of sustainability and value to society. Asami observed, “The real success is the introduction of the innovation that will be meaningful to people and the world.”

The discussion ended with a general agreement that integrating purposeful innovation with technology is the key to creating enduring, future-proof brands in today’s constantly evolving environment.
