“Make AI in India” mission.
In a groundbreaking collaboration, IIT Delhi and AIIMS Delhi have come together to establish a Centre
of Excellence for Artificial
Intelligence in Healthcare (AI-CoE). This forward-looking initiative is
backed by a massive ₹330 crore grant from the Ministry of Education under the
visionary “Make AI in India, Make AI
Work for India” program.
The goal? To revolutionize Indian healthcare using
indigenous, cutting-edge AI technologies—especially in public health and
national health programs.
