Management master’s course, boosting safety education in India’s aviation
industry.

Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation has partnered with France’s L’Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation
Civile (ENAC) to introduce a specialized two-year master’s program in
‘Aviation Safety Management’ for India’s growing civil aviation industry.
Backed by Airbus, this course aims to bolster safety education and meet the
increasing demand for skilled professionals in aviation safety.
Designed to cater specifically to the Indian
aviation sector, the program blends regulatory, technical, and soft skills
training to equip participants with comprehensive safety management knowledge.
Participants will gain essential skills such as leadership, communication, and
assertiveness to tackle the evolving challenges of aviation safety.
The first batch of the program, limited to 30 seats,
will begin in January 2025. Prospective students have until December 15, 2024, to register.

The course will feature a combination of in-person
sessions and online learning, with faculty members traveling from France for
the on-ground training. Students will also complete a six-month project or
dissertation during the program.
As air travel in India continues to expand, the
course aims to address the critical need for advanced safety management systems
and skilled personnel in the industry. The initiative underscores the
importance of safety in the rapidly evolving aviation sector.
