Key Highlights of NEET UG 2025
The exam will be
conducted in pen and paper mode across multiple centers in India.

Eligibility and Admission Process
NEET UG 2025 is the sole entrance exam for various
undergraduate medical programs, including:

MBBS and BDS programs in government and private medical colleges.

BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS programs under the Indian System of
Medicine.
·
BVSc & AH courses in veterinary science.
·
BSc Nursing (Military Nursing Service) for aspirants seeking admission in Armed
Forces Medical Service Hospitals.
Changes in NEET UG 2025 Format
The optional
questions in Section B, introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, have been removed.
No extra time will
be allotted.
The pattern is
reverted to the pre-COVID format.
Exam Mode Controversy: Why Pen and Paper?
Despite demands for
an online mode to prevent paper leaks, NEET
UG 2025 will be conducted in offline mode due to logistical reasons. The
government believes a pen-and-paper format ensures smoother execution and
avoids technical glitches that previously affected CUET exams.
