  1. Life’s Good Scholarship by LG Electronics India PVT. LTD.: This scholarship is an initiative by LG Electronics India which provides a financial aid of one year (50% of tuition fees or up to INR 1 lakh) to students from financially underprivileged backgrounds. The eligibility for this scholarship consists of having at least 60% marks in their 12th class examinations, while students in 2nd/3rd/4th years must have at least 60% marks in their previous year. The application process is taken in 4 phases throughout the year. Preferences are given to female candidates, candidates with less than INR 8 Lakh of annual income and meritorious students. Students must possess their Ration card, 12th mark sheet, proof of admission amongst other required documents.

 

  1. Badhte Kadam Scholarship by HT Parekh Foundation: This scholarship is an initiative by the HT Parekh Foundations whose aim is to help meritorious students from financially underprivileged backgrounds. Along with fee expenditure, they also help with hostel fees, learning aide, stationary, books and more. This scholarship has 3 segments: 1. For general graduation students. 2. For professional graduation students, 3. For students with disabilities.

Across all three segments, the family income should not exceed 6 Lakh INR. The benefits are 30,000 INR, 1,00,000 INR and 30,000/1,00,000 INR for all three segments respectively. For the first to segments the student needs to have at least 70% in 12th or their previous class while the third segment requires an aggregate of 60%.

 

  1. JK Lakshmi Vidya Renewal Scholarship for UG by JK Lakshmi Cement Limited: This scholarship is an initiative by JK Lakshmi Cement Limited. This scholarship is in collaboration with Vidyasaarthi portal for providing financial aid to financially underprivileged students. The eligibility for this scholarship is the requirement of at least 50% in class 10 and class 12. Students can use this scholarship to pursue any undergraduate course and get a grant of up to 30,000 INR in any undergraduate course such as BA, BCA, B.Tech, BSC etc.

 

Post-Graduate Scholarships:

These scholarships provide students with financial aid to pursue a post-graduate degree in multiple fields. They play a crucial role in making higher education accessible for a large margin of students. Here are some of the postgraduate scholarships offered in India:

 

  1. National Scholarship for Post-Graduate studies by Government of India: This scheme was launched by the Government Of India to provide financial help to financially weaker meritorious students to help them pursue postgraduate studies in India. Students will receive 10,000 INR a month for 10 months in a year. For this scholarship, the applicant must be under 30 years old and must be pursuing their first postgraduate degree in a recognized full-time program.  

 

  1. PG GATE/GPAT scholarship by AICTE: This scholarship was initiated by the All India Council For Technical Education to support postgraduate students in technical fields. This scholarship is for students who’ve qualified for the GATE or GPAT exam are enrolled in IACTE approved programs. Students shall receive 12,400 INR per month for a duration of 24 months or until the course is over. Students must present a valid GATE/GPAT score to be eligible for this scholarship.

 

 

  1. Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship by Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation: This is a merit-based scholarship offered to Indian students in PG courses. For this scholarship, the students must be under the age of 30 and must have excellent academic merits and commitment to the field they’re studying in. This scholarship provides the students with an interest free loan according to their financial requirements and the courses’ overall cost. This scholarship is highly regarded in India and is an amazing opportunity for those who want to pursue further studies.
