NMIMS Mumbai is the first university in India that involved the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) program in the curricula across SEM II. The VIP model of organizing students from different years to work in teams with faculty on research-based projects is an innovation in traditional classroom paradigms. It provides an intense, experiential learning format.

To unite and encourage this collective pursuit, they had the official launch event at NMIMS Mumbai commemorating the university’s progress immensely. The highlight of the occasion was the signing of the documents that joined NMIMS to the VIP consortium.
They help the students join the research groups conducted by the faculties of the NMIMS and contribute to research projects. It underlines the university’s focus on the CPU.
